2011 United Way Campaign Kickoff and Day of Caring
This year's United Way Campaign will kick off on August 31, 2011 at 7:30am at the Classic Center in downtown Athens. After breakfast, volunteers from organizations across our 8 county area will head out to "get their hands dirty" doing projects at some of our 30 supported agencies as part of our annual Day of Caring. If your company is interested in having a team participate in the Day of Caring, plase contact the United Way Office at 706.543.5254.
Oconee County Golf Tournament
The Oconee County Advisory board is holding their annual Golf Tournament benefitting United Way on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Jennings Mill Golf Course.

Power of the Purse
The United Way's Women's Leadership Circle is again putting on their annual Power of the Purse Luncheon and Silent Auction. The event will be held September 29, 2011 at 11:30am at Athens Country Club. If you have a new or gently used purse or piece of jewelry you would like to donate, please contact Susan St.Charles at susanst@bellsouth.net.

Caring Card
2011 Caring Cards have been finalized and we are in the process of delivering then to those donating $144/year or more. Be sure that your organization has notified us as to how many employees qualify for the card so that we can get them to you!
