As our community grows and changes, so do the needs of its people. Addressing these emerging needs requires a flexible, dependable source. No business lives off a checking account. Business plans need to address plans for tomorrow. Those plans have to address poverty, education and training for a better quality of life for our community.
Unmet Needs
United Way wants to ensure that needed community services are available in the future. Annual Campaign gifts alone simply cannot fund the future. Agency funding requests will grow each year.
Our Goal
Our goal is to continue to meet recommended agency funding requests. It is our vision to provide a safer community to live, work and raise a family.
To face the future, we need to guarantee the resources of our agencies for people in need. The Endowment Fund enables us to act rather than react, to stay one step ahead of challenging health and social problems. It also helps us to sustain programs needed in our community, as well as develop new programs.
