The United Way of Northeast Georgia has a unique partnership with members of Stephens County. This relationship involves United Way providing administrative support to the Stephens County Advisory Board as they implement their own local campaign. The Board of Directors of United Way of Northeast Georgia serves as the governing board in the process, with local representation from Stephens County. All money raised in Stephens County during their campaign remains in Stephens County, except for a fee paid to the United Way of Northeast Georgia to cover clerical and other incurred costs.
