Dolly Parton's Imagination Library programs are moving to new homes after nine years with United Way of Northeast Georgia!

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library - Clarke County program will move to Books for Keeps.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library - Oconee County program will move to Oconee Area Resource Council.

Over the last nine years, these programs have provided some 300,000 books to more than 11,000 children. United Way of Northeast Georgia will continue to financially support the programs through this transition to ensure they continue and thrive, so that there is no disruption of book delivery for the children. The transition for these programs has already started and book delivery will continue as normal. For those who would like to donate to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, you can continue to donate via United Way of Northeast Georgia and all designated donations will be immediately directed to the respective new organizations, or you can donate directly to each new organization.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library sends free, age-appropriate books to children each month from birth until they turn five. Through a study done with a partnering school district we found that children receiving our books performed 10% better on kindergarten literacy evaluations than their peers.
